Whew, what a spring/summer season of trail work that we have had at Bent Creek.  Starting in March, we have been involved in almost every aspect of trail maintenance imaginable. A quick summary of P.A.S. related activities includes 9 scheduled trail workdays, 1 Pisgah Pride Day project, 8 days of Dingo operations, and numerous trees cleared from the trail system.  An additional 20 hours of machine work was provided by a trail volunteer/trail contractor with the Pisgah District.  This service included moving rocks, mowing trail corridors (Campground Connector and North Boundary Road), and transporting volunteers and materials.  All of this has been possible because of an awesome bunch of regular volunteers and the efforts of 4 trail crew leaders.
