South Mills River / Turkey Pen

South Mills River / Turkey Pen is part of the Pisgah Area Ranger district. Tukey Pen trailhead can be accessed off of 280 with a parking lot at the trail head up a steep gravel road. Lots of technical climbs and single track with the opportunity to create full day rides.

Squirrel Gap brings a wealth of challenges and fun is it follows the contour lines well above the South Mills river.
